Seb Mayer is a London based puppet designer, puppet maker and puppeteer.
In 2023, Seb recreated the journey of the first giraffe in France, walking a full size giraffe puppet 1,000km from Marseille to Paris, stopping seven times along the way to invite local people to decorate the giraffe's skin, over 70 days of public performance.
As a puppet designer, Seb has co-designed the puppets for RSC's 2025 production of the BFG.
In 2026, Seb will build an elephant puppet structured around a child carrier, and tour England and France delivering workshops for children and their grownups, to share and learn through creative play.
