ABOUT
Seb Mayer is a London based puppet designer, puppet maker and puppeteer.
​
In 2023, Seb recreated the journey of the first giraffe in France, walking a full size giraffe puppet 1,000km from Marseille to Paris, stopping seven times along the way to invite local people to decorate the giraffe's skin, over 70 days of public performance.​
​
As a puppet designer, Seb has co-designed the puppets for RSC's 2025 production of the BFG.
​
In 2026, Seb will build an elephant puppet structured around a child carrier, and tour England and France delivering workshops for children and their grownups, to share and learn through creative play.
